海耶兹《吻》

离别前的一瞬 · A moment before parting

海耶兹把两个人的拥抱放在冷硬的石墙前。蓝色衣裙接住光，面孔几乎藏进亲吻里；一只脚却已经踏上台阶。亲密与离开的方向，在同一瞬间相遇。 Against the stone wall, the blue dress catches the light. Their faces disappear into the kiss, yet one foot is already on the step. Intimacy and the possibility of departure occupy the same moment.

这幅画创作于1859年，由阿方索·玛丽亚·维斯孔蒂委托，现藏于布雷拉美术馆。馆方将它置于意大利统一运动的背景中，并把衣装里的红、绿、蓝、白联系到意大利与法国。爱情也承载着时代的期待。 Painted in 1859 for Alfonso Maria Visconti, the work belongs to the Pinacoteca di Brera. The museum relates its red, green, blue and white clothing to Italy and France in the context of Italian unification.

1. 藏起来的面孔 · Faces concealed 帽檐压低，脸被侧转的姿势遮住。我们先看到相拥的动作，才试着辨认两个人的表情。 The lowered brim and turned heads conceal their faces. The embrace reaches us before either expression does. 看托住脸颊的手，和另一只搭在肩上的手。 Follow the hand at the cheek and the hand on the shoulder.
2. 蓝色里的光 · Light in blue 衣裙的亮部不是一整块浅蓝。细小的折痕切开亮面，深蓝的褶谷让布料有了重量。 The dress is not one patch of pale blue. Small creases interrupt the highlights; deep blue folds give the fabric weight. 沿腰间的褶皱向下，看光怎样断开、再出现。 Trace a fold down from the waist as its highlight breaks and returns.
3. 已经抬起的脚 · A foot on the step 拥抱仍然紧密，一只脚已经踏上右侧的台阶。这个不对称的姿势，让静止的亲吻带上将要移动的感觉。 The embrace is close, but one foot rests on the step at right. That uneven stance introduces the possibility of movement. 比较脚的方向与向后倾的蓝色衣裙。 Compare the foot’s direction with the backward tilt of the blue dress.
4. 门洞里的暗影 · A shadow in the doorway 左侧门洞深处有一个小小的暗色人形。它没有清楚的面孔，却让这次相遇似乎不再完全私密。 A small dark figure appears deep in the doorway at left. Without a readable face, it still makes the encounter feel less private. 先辨认轮廓，再看它与明亮衣裙的距离。 Find the silhouette, then notice its distance from the luminous dress.
5. 帽檐与羽饰 · Brim and feather 羽饰向上伸出，帽檐斜着压向两人的面孔。这些有方向的线条，把目光引回亲吻的位置。 The feather rises while the brim angles down toward the faces. Their opposing directions lead the eye back to the kiss. 从羽饰尖端沿帽檐看回两人之间。 Follow the feather down to the brim and back between the two figures.
